Dr. Dave will teach you every step you need for a powerful, but non-confrontational program, called the R.E.S.T.Program, Real Economy System for Teens. This program has been researched and presented in professional journals. It has been developed with hundreds of teens over Dr. Dave’s thirty years as a professor, clinician, writer, and speaker. Audiences have acclaimed this workshop as one of the greatest experiences of a lifetime.
Topics: Three Topics will be covered:
In the first two hours the topics covered will be:
1. Unraveling the real scoop on the growing epidemic of childhood and teen psychiatric diseases. • How the disease research is being misrepresented, and what the real facts are. • How the research is being used by the pharmaceutical companies to convince the professional community and the public of the necessity of using psychiatric drugs.
2. Learning the truth about psychiatric drugs. • What the drugs are. • How the drugs really work, and how there is misleading information that they correct chemical imbalances. • What the health risks of these drugs are to the developing brains and bodies of children and teens. • Learn why children once started on psychiatric drugs, can’t get off them as teens.
3. The remaining four hours will be devoted to learning the R.E.S.T Program. • Learn how to separate issues most teens and parents argue over into 2 categories: Home, which are those behaviors parents can and should expect within the home, and Life, which are those behaviors that occur outside the home and require a deep, communicative, and loving relationship with your teen to help him or her stand up to a difficult and complex world.
